Pilot Programme Starts with 50 Students in an Eastern Ghana School
The RedHippo Team recently visited one of the best Basic schools in the Eastern Region of Ghana to introduce them to RedHippo Virtual Academy.
Nana Osae Djan is a well-known Basic school in Nsawam, known for its academic excellence with a student pass rate of around 76%.
The school has a population of over 900 students and throughout the COVID pandemic, all the students have been at home without any learning materials or resources. The school's ICT laboratory is under-equipped with only 8 computers for the entire student population of 900.
As part of a RedHippo Pilot project, we have registered 50 students on our virtual learning platform, introducing the students to online education and helping them improve their academic experience despite the difficulties imposed upon everyone by the COVID pandemic.
As part of an extended pilot programme, RedHippo is aiming to register up to 500 students in order to fully test our systems and receive feedback on the learning experience as we look to launch across Ghana.
